The World Association of Marching Show Bands (WAMSB) International, on the recommendation of WAMSB Indonesia, is proud to announce and choose the Tievel Unity Indonesia Foundation (TUIF) as part of the Official Management of WAMSB WAMSB Indonesia.
This was marked by the arrival of WAMSB International representatives represented by Mr. Jimmy Wong went to Indonesia accompanied by the President of WAMSB Indonesia, Ir. Joko Sucahyono to meet with the Chairwoman of the Tievel Unity Indonesia Foundation at the Jakarta International Velodrome, Rawamangun, East Jakarta on Wednesday (18/9/2024).
“We hope to work together with TUIF as an advisor to WAMSB Indonesia to be able to organize many events and world-class competitions in the future, namely the 2025 WAMSB World Championships,” said Jimmy Wong in his speech in front of the General Chair, TUIF administrators and members in the room. Jakarta International Velodrome VIP meeting, Rawamangun, Jakarta, Indonesia.
In line with Jimmy Wong, President of WAMSB Indonesia, Ir. Joko Sucahyono added that the appointment of TUIF as Advisor and being part of the management of WAMSB Indonesia was because TUIF was considered to have a compact, solid team work and had demonstrated its ability to organize various championship events, competitions, festivals, both at regional, national and international levels, so that every year can hold marching band events using the WAMSB International Rules & Regulations.
Meanwhile, the Chairwoman of the Tievel Unity Indonesia Foundation, drg. Fanny Fatriani Syarifuddin Alambai, SKG expressed her infinite gratitude for the trust given by WAMSB International to TUIF to become part of WAMSB Indonesia.
“Thank you for your trust in appointing TUIF to be part of WAMSB Indonesia. After holding several meetings to discuss with the TUIF team, we are willing and firmly committed to carrying out this trust and trust in us. This is in line with the vision and mission of @tievel_unity.indonesia in advancing arts, culture and sports, the pride of the Indonesian nation on the world stage. In Shaa Allah, we are ready to hold the 2025 WAMSB World Championship in Indonesia at the Jakarta International Velodrome, Rawamangun, East Jakarta on 8 – 10 August 2025. Please pray that this event can be held and run well and smoothly. “So it can become a means of promoting Indonesia in the international arena,” explained Fanny.
Indonesia has officially hosted the 2025 WAMSB World Championships which was marked by the handing over of the WAMSB World Championships Host City Flag to the 2025 host, Jakarta International Velodrome, Rawamangun, East Jakarta, Indonesia.
The presentation of the host city flag was given by WAMSB International Representative Mr. Jimmy Wong to Joko Sucahyono as President of WAMSB Indonesia which was then given to General Chair of the Tievel Unity Indonesia Foundation.
